Church on Sunday
The 130 year old Sylvan Beach Union Chapel. Built in the days before air conditioning, the wall panels are hinged at the top and lift up from the bottom to open the chapel to breezes.
After the service, Spike and Eileen greeting old friends from years past.
Inside the chapel. This season will include services by Methodist, Christian, Congregational, Universal Life, and Lutheran ministers, plus the Humble Men's Choir.
One of the hinged wall panels that lift up from the bottom to open the chapel to breeze. Important in the days before air conditioning had been invented.
The interior of the chapel is beautiful.
After church, a vist to the Sylvan Beach fountain, gazebo and the ice cream stand owned by Pete's childhood friend Joe
Joan and Barbara on the beach.
Spike explains the fountain.
Relaxing in the gazebo
Joe's ice cream stand.
Back at Whistlewing. No photos of the rest of the family, Chris and Bill's nice new camp/home and Bill's new boat, the cookout and feast on Sunday--some of the best memories. Next time, more photos!
Saying goodbye

Thanks for having us, Eileen and Pete!
